The Heat Is On! Eymard Cabling will take you through his audition process for Miss Saigon, and also share the inside scoop about creating and maintaining a 15+ year career in musical theatre. There will be opportunities for students to receive coaching on a monologue of their choosing, and the workshop will culminate with a Q&A.
Students are invited to bring a one-minute monologue. Please make your selection as if you were auditioning for a current play or musical at a professional level. It is always best to avoid overdone material, bring a copy of your monologue, and you should be completely memorized and performance ready.
Bio: Eymard Cabling attended Carnegie Mellon University and received B.F.A. Tours include Miss Saigon in North America and the international tour of The King and I in Asia. Regional theatre includes: Allegiance (Frankie Suzuki/Mr. Maruyama), The King and I (Lun Tha), Once on This Island (Daniel), Me…Jane at the Kennedy Center and She Loves Me (Arpad) at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
Tuition: $80*
